Mindy

MS, RD,
Registed Dietitian

I am a Registered Dietitian passionate about helping individuals build a more positive and trusting relationship with food. I believe nutrition is deeply personal, and that everyone has unique experiences, needs, and goals when it comes to nourishing their body. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida and completed my Master's degree in Dietetics and Nutrition at Florida International University. During my dietetic internship, I completed clinical rotations throughout the greater Miami area, including Jackson Memorial Hospital/Holtz Children's Hospital, the Miami-Dade Head Start Program, and Clementine Monte Nido Affiliates. My time at Clementine helped me recognize the important role nutrition plays in eating disorder recovery and strengthened my passion for supporting individuals in healing their relationship with food.

I previously worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Baptist Hospital of Miami, providing medical nutrition therapy in the inpatient setting. My experience included supporting individuals with complex medical conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, and critical illness. This background allows me to understand the connection between nutrition, health, and each person's unique circumstances.

I have a special interest in working with individuals with Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), including those navigating sensory sensitivities, food fears, and challenges with expanding food variety. I enjoy helping clients and families take a supportive, individualized approach to building confidence with food.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based, non-diet nutrition care that considers both the body and mind. Together, we will explore your nutrition goals, build practical skills, and develop an approach to eating that feels supportive, sustainable, and aligned with your life. I am excited to support you on your journey toward greater confidence, flexibility, and peace with food.
